This 1/4 x 12 x 48 Baltic Birch Plywood is of premium quality. Its metric measurements have been converted to English equivalents, as is the case with all aircraft-grade plywood. Though we aim to provide the highest quality possible, the rough-cut nature makes it difficult to guarantee that each sheet is perfectly flat and straight. Additionally, exact sizes and freedom from saw blade chipping cannot be assured.

Large order great quality

This was a large order, at least for me. The wood is being used to build a biplane from the 90’s. The box weighed 20 lbs and there was balsa, basswood and lite and birch plywood. I was concerned because it was delivered and I wasn’t there to inspect it when it arrived. One end of the box had been torn off and I was expecting the worst. Thanks to the way it was packed, nothing was missing. No fault of National Balsa. The quality of the wood is very good. If I did t know better I would say it was a hand pick for uniformity. I’m going to place another order and build another kit. I’ll be back to do that. I’m looking forward to seeing the new shaped leading edge stock since it’s hard to find and way over priced. Hopefully it will be Avail e in 1/2 x 3/4.
